Bullard House Pottery

All my stoneware pieces are made from high fired clay that can withstand oven and microwave temperature as well as being dishwasher safe. I mix all of my own glazes and find flexibility in how I apply and layer them. If a piece is labeled “redware” this is a more miniature form that would be historically found around our area. These pieces are made from an earthenware clay that is fired at a much lower temperature. While fully functional in our modern homes, they can be porous if left with standing liquid on a table or other surface. The bottoms will “breathe” and may leave a ring.
